I've been filming weddings full time since 2010, and over 15 years and hundreds of weddings I've developed a style that's cinematic without feeling produced. Creating an environment where couples feel relaxed and comfortable being themselves in front of the camera is what it's all about. When people feel at ease, what ends up on film is golden, and that's what makes a wedding film worth watching years later. My approach is to guide gently when it's useful and step back when the real moments take over.
As our lead videographer, I shoot the majority of our weddings and oversee every film from the first frame through the final edit. I work alongside a small team of highly experienced videographers who share the same calm presence and eye for storytelling that's central to how we like to work. Because I lead the editing process, every film is shaped around the rhythm and feeling of your specific day, not a template.
Outside of weddings, I'm usually near the ocean with my family. Surfing is a big part of my life, and I love skating with my daughter. Our family loves spending time in Hawaii. I'm always on the hunt for great matcha, coffee, and acai. If you've got a spot I should know about, let me know!
