I have a degree in computer-aided drafting and started my professional life working as a graphic designer.
When I’m not capturing wedding memories, I enjoy challenging my creativity with fashion editorial photography.
The greatest joy in my photography career has been to shoot alongside my daughter. She began her photography journey in high school and is, hands down, my favorite second photographer!

My love of photography began as a teenager with my mom’s Polaroid camera, although I didn’t become serious about photography until my wife became pregnant with our daughter. With our baby on the way, I took college level photography courses and loved them! Even though digital photography was popular, my school still started students out on 35mm black and white film. With there being a limited number of shots on a roll of film, I learned to put intention and effort behind every photo. I loved spending time in the darkroom developing my own film and putting so much time and effort into every print. I’d never give up my digital cameras, but I consider my foundation in the world of film to be a huge asset.
I started my career in photography with newborns and maternity sessions…who doesn’t love babies, right? After a few years I moved to wedding and have loved it ever since!
